Boo at the Zoo offers spooktacular family fun
FORT WORTH, Texas — Join in the howling fun at Fort Worth Zoo’s 18th annual Boo at the Zoo! This family-friendly festival, full of treats, animals and not-too-scary surprises, runs Thursday, October 22 to Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes for a night of safe and fun-filled activities. The Razzmajazz Dixieland Band will greet all of the ghouls and goblins as they arrive at the Zoo for the evening’s festivities, which will include a variety stage show, the Cowtown Clowns, live animal presentations, keeper chats and more! Boo guests will also be able to see some animals on exhibit until sunset.
Zoo trick-or-treaters can visit the 14 treat stations located throughout the Zoo to stuff their bags with candy, and world-renowned master pumpkin carver Russ Leno will display his giant carved pumpkins in The Grinning Grove.
