Girl Scouts Cadette Workshop: Night Owls
Date: Friday, April 27 – Saturday, April 28
Time: 6:30 p.m. Friday – 10 a.m. Saturday
Cost: $40
Come to the Fort Worth Zoo to satisfy the requirements for the Cadette’s Night Owl badge. Night has captured human imagination since the dawn of time. But with modern-day electricity, it’s easy to overlook the mysteries and beauty of the world after the sun goes down. So grow your imagination and expand what you know — or think you know! Turn out the lights, tune into your senses and step out into the night….
Activities will consist of a craft, live-animal and biofact presentation, scavenger hunt, morning Zoo hike and all-day Zoo admission for Saturday. A pizza dinner, light evening snack and continental breakfast will be included. One adult chaperone is required for every six scouts.
Girl Scouts Junior Workshop: Detective – SOLD OUT
Date: Friday, May 4 – Saturday, May 5
Time: 6:30 p.m. Friday – 10 a.m. Saturday
Cost: $40
Come to the Fort Worth Zoo to satisfy the requirements for the Junior’s Detective badge. Stories, movies and television shows are full of amazing detectives solving mysteries and bringing criminals to justice. The important job of a detective is exciting and takes serious skills — skills you can try in this badge. Grab your magnifying glass and dive into the science of detecting!
