Zoo Careers Camp
Join the Fort Worth Zoo for Zoo Careers Camp!
Zoo Careers Camp is designed for high school students entering ninth through 12th grades who are interested in zoological sciences, wildlife conservation and animal-related careers. During this five-day resident camp, participants will learn about animal care, husbandry, maintenance and training and accompany animal staff on daily schedules, participate in animal care activities and attend presentations given by the Zoo staff.
Zoo Careers Camp fees includes housing, all meals, activities, camp materials and a T-shirt. Zoo Careers Camp sessions are first-come, first served. Campers must be 14-18 years old and entering grades 9-12.
Camp dates: June 10-15, June 24-29 and July 8-13.
Cost: $800 (Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount)
Each session is limited to 12 campers.
