Winter Zoo Camp — Dec. 23, 30 and Jan. 2, 3
The Fort Worth Zoo’s Winter Zoo Camp is a lot like Summer Zoo Camp, but colder! This camp offers unique activities for children in grades one through six, allowing them to explore wildlife inside the Zoo and in the classroom during their winter break from school. Click here for more details.
Winter Zoo Careers Camp — Dec. 27 to 29
In this overnight camp, students in grades nine to 12 will learn about what it takes to work at the Zoo.Click here for more details.
Texas Nature Traders — Daily
This formalized program encourages kids (age 3 and older) to explore the outdoors and bring to the building fossils, rocks, bones, plants and other artifacts in exchange for points. Traders can redeem points (or save them for future use) for items in the Nature Trader inventory. Texas Nature Traders operates seven days a week, opening at 11 a.m. and closing one hour before the Zoo closes. Click here for more details.
Home School Classes — Monthly
The Fort Worth Zoo offers classes for home-schooled children ages 6 to 15 that include an interactive lab, snack, live animal presentation and admission for each student to the Zoo on class day. Click here for class descriptions.
