GIGANTABUGS! — Now through July 6
Don’t miss the giant, animatronic bugs on display throughout the Zoo! From a 6-foot-tall firefly to an 8-foot-tall scorpion, this temporary exhibit is a must-see this spring and summer. Wild Encounters — Daily
Learn wild facts about your favorite wild animals during daily Wild Encounters keeper chats. Click here to view the schedule.
Texas Nature Traders — Daily
This formalized program encourages kids (age 3 and older) to explore the outdoors and bring to the building fossils, rocks, bones, plants and other artifacts in exchange for points. Traders can redeem points (or save them for future use) for items in the Nature Trader inventory. Texas Nature Traders operates seven days a week, opening at 11 a.m. and closing one hour before the Zoo closes. Click here for more details.
Home School Classes — Monthly
The Fort Worth Zoo offers classes for home-schooled children ages 6 to 15 that include an interactive lab, snack, live animal presentation and admission for each student to the Zoo on class day. Click here for class descriptions.
