Overnights


Choose from our exciting Overnight themes and come spend the night at the Fort Worth Zoo! Overnight adventures allow you to explore the Zoo on a guided evening scavenger hunt, morning tour before the Zoo opens and all-day Zoo admission the day after your Overnight. Enjoy the comfort of our climate-controlled Education Center as you participate in a craft activity and live animal presentation. A pizza dinner, evening snack and continental breakfast are also included. Please note that in the event of inclement weather, some activities may be substituted.

Safari Overnight: Explore the unique adaptations animals need to survive as you travel the trails through Africa, Asia and Australia. Please note: This Overnight requires a minimum of 15 participants.

TEKS-aligned weekday and weekend Overnight programs are a great opportunity for students to experience the Fort Worth Zoo and are offered depending on Education Center availability. For information on an education Overnights for school groups, please contact the Overnight coordinator at 817/759-7200.

Ages 6-years-old to Adult

(Minimum group size is 15 participants. Two adult chaperones, 18 years and older, are required for every 15 children 6 yearsold through 12th grade)

Dates Fridays and Saturdays, year-round
Times 6:30 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Cost Safari Overnight: $45/participant*
*including chaperones

Overnight deposit is nonrefundable.

Date change is not permitted within 30 days of scheduled Overnight.

Snore and Roar: Family Overnights

The Fort Worth Zoo’s Snore and Roar overnight programs are a perfect way for families to have a fun time and bond on an overnight adventure at the Zoo. Parents and children will have the unique opportunity to experience the Zoo at night! All Snore and Roar overnights include pizza dinner, evening tour, evening craft, morning tour, next-day admission to the Zoo, and a live animal presentation. Please note that all Snore and Roar overnights require a minimum of 15 participants.


Wetlands Appreciation Month

Date: Friday, May 25 – Saturday, May 26
Time: 6:30 p.m. Friday – 10 a.m. Saturday
Cost: $40 non-members (Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount)
