Student Groups

Discounted Zoo admission is available to student groups by reservation only between September 1 and June 15 (except for October 1, 2009, March 4, 2010, and March 15-19, 2010). Eligible student groups include public, private, parochial and home schools, as well as Head Start programs. Daycare and summer camp programs are not eligible for the student group rates and need to contact our Event Sales Department at 817/759-7300 for special pricing.

Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance of your Zoo visit by fax at 817/759-7201. Both a Student Group Reservation and a Guidelines Form must be completed and faxed. Please allow five business days for a receipt of confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation after five business days, please call 817/759-7200.

The student group reservation is complete when the lead teacher receives the Fort Worth Zoo Student Group Confirmation Form via fax from the Zoo Education Department.

The Student Groups Discounted admission is as follows:

$4.00 — Students, pre-kindergarten through fifth grade
$5.75 — Students, sixth grade through college
$6.00 — Additional adults after one free chaperone for every 10 students

(Bus drivers may receive a Zoo admission ticket if he/she presents a valid school district license at Guest Relations.)
