Home to nearly 7,000 exotic animals that represent more than 500 species, the Fort Worth Zoo spends more than $850,000 a year feeding all of its wild residents. That's why we need your help! You can "adopt" one of the Zoo's animals to contribute to its care and feeding for one full year.
* Wild Wonders programs may be scheduled for an at school appearance or for a time during your scheduled field trip. Please call for availability. * Wild Wonders programs are not considered a "petting zoo." * Programs are presented by Animal Outreach Department specialists. * Programs can be presented both indoors and outdoors with the appropriate set-up and contingency plans for inclement weather. * Specific Outreach animals may be requested but are not guaranteed. For a list of Outreach animals please Click Here. * Your adoptive animal may not necessarily be a part of the Outreach program, and therefore will not be included in the program. * The Wild Wonders program does not include admission to the Zoo and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance for a mutually agreeable time. ** Zoo passes must be purchased separately from the Keeper Chat add-on. Chats must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance during regular Zoo hours for a mutually agreeable time. Please contact the Education department at 817/759-7200 for field trip pricing and information.
