Fort Worth Zoo set to host 22nd annual Halloween event

FORT WORTH, Texas – The Fort Worth Zoo’s family friendly Halloween celebration is now a Zoo-wide event, offering guests 64 acres of Halloween fun with all-day hours running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for one weekend only — Oct. 25, 26 and 27.

Boo at the Zoo, presented by Central Market and Wells Fargo, will feature Halloween-themed entertainment throughout the Zoo for all guests to enjoy, including a Wild Wonders animal show at the Outdoor Learning Theater, a pumpkin patch, costume parade, a Tot Spot, crafts and treats. Wild Encounters keeper chats and Boo-themed animal enrichment activities will take place at various exhibits throughout the Zoo.

Zoo guests and members will receive six Boo at the Zoo coupons at the Zoo’s main ticket booth at no additional cost. Coupons can be redeemed at treat stations throughout the entire park and/or in the carnival area, located in the Special Events Pavilion.

Boo at the Zoo is included with admission — $12 for adults, $9 for children ages 3-12, $9 for seniors ages 65 and up, and free for children 2 and younger. The event is free for Zoo members.

The nationally acclaimed Fort Worth Zoo has been ranked the No. 5 zoo in the nation by USA Travel Guide and the No. 1 attraction in the DFW Metroplex by Zagat survey. The Zoo is home to more than 500 animal species and a world-famous reptile collection, housed in the brand new Museum of Living Art (MOLA). The institution’s focus on education and conservation is second to none, enhancing the lives of more than 1 million visitors a year.
