Registration now open for Fort Worth Zoo’s 18th annual Zoo Run
FORT WORTH, Texas – Run wild through the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday, March 28, at the 18th annual Zoo Run, presented by Terminix. This family friendly event supports the Zoo’s extensive wildlife conservation and education efforts locally and around the world.
Zoo Run includes a timed 5K and 5K Fun Run as well as a 1K Fun Run. The races will take place on a USA Track and Field-certified course along the Zoo’s main pathway and throughout the beautiful surrounding neighborhood.
All pre-registered runners receive a 2015 Zoo Run T-shirt, race bag and one admission pass to the Fort Worth Zoo. Runners will enjoy food, drinks and activities after the race, including an awards ceremony and a live animal presentation. Participants may register the morning of the race, but T-shirts, race bags and timing devices (optional; $3) are only guaranteed for pre-registered runners. School groups and teams must register by March 4.

PLEASE NOTE: On the day of the event, Colonial Parkway will be closed to all thru traffic. Limited parking is available in the Zoo’s main parking lot via Forest Park Boulevard, as well as the grass lot adjacent to the Zoo’s main lot and the grass lot at the corner of University Drive and Colonial Parkway. Zoo Run participants may also park in the University Park Village lot and on the 5th and 6th floors of the West Bend parking garage. The Zoo encourages all participants to “go green” and carpool to the Zoo, if possible. Please allow as much as an hour for parking.
