Winter Zoo Day Camps

The Fort Worth Zoo’s Winter Zoo Camp is a lot like Summer Zoo Camp, but colder! This camp offers unique activities for children in first through sixth grade, allowing them to explore wildlife inside the Zoo and in the classroom during their winter break from school.

Camp Fees

Individual day: $85 - Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount
Before care (8 to 9 a.m.): $15
After care (4 to 5 p.m.): $15
Both: $25

All 5 days: $285 - Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount.
Before care (8 to 9 a.m.): $40
After care (4 to 5 p.m.): $40

 Home for the Holidays!

Come visit some Texan natives and see what they’re up to this winter. Learn all about the wildlife you can spot during the winter season and what they are doing to survive the colder weather.

 Gingerbread House Making: Zoo Edition

Campers will study Zoo design and get a chance to build their own zoo exhibit, with a holiday twist!

 Jan. 2 

 Pajama Party

Stay in your pajama’s for this camp! Campers are encouraged to wear their PJ’s to come and learn why some animals choose to sleep all winter.

 Jan. 3 

 Let's Go on a Snowfari!

Come learn about adaptations animals have to survive in the winter, and make some winter themed enrichment for our animals here at the Zoo!

 Jan. 4 

 South for the Winter

Heat wave! Campers will take a trip down south, to learn about animals that migrate.
