High School Zoo Camp

High School Zoo Camp gives campers the chance to see and learn all about how our Zoo staff looks after animals. Each day is specific to a certain department of the Zoo, giving campers the opportunity to learn about the animals they love most. Campers will participate in a variety of husbandry activities, enrichment projects, diet preparations, tour behind the scenes as well as interact with staff including zookeepers, nutritionists, veterinarians, conservationists, and animal behaviorists.

Dates: Five camp sessions offered twice per year. Check below for specific camp dates.
Ages: 14 to 18 year olds and entering ninth through 12th grades.
Fees
: $125 per session; $575 for all five days.

Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount.

Summer Zoo Camp Registration

NEW! Zoo members exclusive presale begins on Feb. 25. Fort Worth Zoo members will have a chance to register early for all Summer Zoo Camps. Spaces are limited.

Regular registration for Summer Zoo Camp will open on March 4.
