High School Zoo Camp 2021 - SOLD OUT!


High School Zoo Camp gives campers the chance to see and learn all about how our Zoo staff looks after animals. Each day is specific to a certain department of the Zoo, giving campers the opportunity to learn about the animals they love most. Campers will participate in a variety of husbandry activities, enrichment projects, diet preparations, tour behind the scenes as well as interact with staff including zookeepers, nutritionists, veterinarians, conservationists, and animal behaviorists.

Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount.

Camp Rates

Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ages: Entering ninth through 12th grades.
: $150 per day

  • All campers, 10 years old or older are required to wear a face-covering at all times. 
  • Exceptions to this requirement include; if your camper has health reasons that prevent them from wearing a face covering, need to take a short break while wearing one (while remaining 6 ft apart), eating or drinking, and while participating in Zoo Camp.
  • Campers under the age of 10 are not required but are encouraged to wear face coverings.
  • If your camper is 10 years old or older and arrives without a face covering, we will provide them with one and charge $1. We will not be offering masks to campers under the age of 10.
