New at the Zoo - August 2021

Sidewalk Repair to Start Aug. 16

Please bear with us while we repair the sidewalk along the Zoo's main path connecting Elephant Springs to MOLA (Museum of Living Art)  beginning Aug. 16. This project is expected to last four weeks and will ensure the consistency of the main path throughout the Zoo. While sidewalk construction will limit access to some parts of the path, it will not limit guests’ ability to view any animal habitats.  Additional signage will ensure guests have no trouble finding their way... August is Asian Elephant Awareness Month!

It’s Asian Elephant Awareness Month, and we’ll take any chance we can get to highlight the endangered species! Sugar Rush! Meet the Zoo's two newest giraffe calves

This summer has been a sweet one with three giraffe calves joining the herd. After Lucchese’s birth on May 7, the Fort Worth Zoo announced the births of the two more giraffe calves- meet Snickers and Jelly Bean! Fun at Summer Zoo Camp!
