The highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) has been identified within a range that requires extra protection for the health and safety of the Zoo’s most at-risk birds. On your next visit, you will notice some birds have been moved off-habitat and no birds will be featured in any stage shows or educational programs to limit exposure to the flu. You can still visit many birds at the Zoo including those in Raptor Canyon, Penguins and African Savanna. We appreciate your understanding in keeping the Zoo’s vulnerable birds safe. This is an ever-evolving situation, and we will continue to keep you updated.
