Spring Break: What to Know Before You Go


Skip the line and purchase tickets ahead of time.

Beat the traffic and take the Safari Xpress (March 7 – 15)

Get shuttle information, including times and fares here.

Allow extra time for traffic and parking

Designated Fort Worth police officers will be onsite directing traffic and coordinating with Zoo staff to keep visitors moving into one of our multiple parking lots. The Zoo is maximizing its resources to keeping traffic moving efficiently. Follow the car in front of you (and the police officer, and the Zoo employee) and we’ll get you in as quickly as possible.

Hold on to your tickets (Parking and Admission)

You can apply your parking and admission tickets toward the cost of a membership. Check out the benefits of a Fort Worth Zoo membership here.

Small coolers and outside food and drink are permitted inside the park

We just ask that you do not bring in glass, alcohol, or disposable lids and straws.

There will be scheduled Animal Outreach presentations and stage shows

Get an up-close look at the mammals, birds and reptiles in the Zoo’s animal outreach collection at the Outdoor Learning Theater.

 March 9 - 17: 11 a.m., 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

 March 18 - 24:  Noon,  2 and 3 p.m.

The Zoo has multiple restaurants and snack locations located throughout the park
