The Reserve

Capacity: 300 to 1,200+

The Reserve is the Zoo’s premier event space for large weddings and grand parties. Nestled in the African Savanna, this tented outdoor venue can be customized for a gathering of any style. Whether you are hosting a formal spring wedding, or a holiday office party to remember, The Reserve is available for daytime or evening rentals. With chilled air piped in during warmer seasons and tent sides and heaters available for winter events, this one-of-a-kind is a year-round destination. Plus, with a view that overlooks the African Savanna habitat, home to our giraffe heard, hippos and rhinos, to name a few, your guests are sure to enjoy an experience they wont soon forget.

The Portraits of the Wild Art Gallery

Capacity: 75 to 150

This distinctive room-in-the-round is an upscale option for everything from intimate receptions to cocktail parties and rehearsal dinners. Walls lined with bamboo feature paintings of the African savanna from internationally acclaimed wildlife artist Wilhelm Kuhnert. This beautiful room opens to the natural ambiance of the Fort Worth Zoo on the gallery’s tree-shaded deck and is perfect for more intimate affairs.

Texas Wild!

Capacity: 200 to 3,000

This authentic habitat is also a venue perfect for evening events and large weddings. Guests can ride the Yellow Rose Express train straight into vintage Texas Town. Classic offerings such as an ice cream parlor, general store and candy shop can be added to the festivities. Plus, you may choose to add black bears, otters and jaguars to your guest list!

Bluebonnet Café and Deck

Capacity: 200 to 400

The Bluebonnet Café is a unique and versatile space within Texas Wild! for evening catered events such as galas, fundraisers, holiday parties and more. A large deck surrounding the café provides ample space for guests to mingle under the canopy of trees after they arrive in style on the Yellow Rose Express train.

Crocodile Café and MOLA Gardens

Capacity: 75 to 150

For a walk on the wilder side, book your next get-together at our Crocodile Café and MOLA Gardens. This lush, green environment invites your guests to live it up as critically endangered crocodiles, colorful turtles and a variety of exotic fish species look in on the real party animals. Perfect for evening parties, rehearsal dinners or wedding receptions.

Picnic Outpost

Capacity: 200 to 350

Located in the center of the Zoo, Picnic Outpost is a great choice for casual gatherings and parties. This inviting open-air pavilion is available for daytime rental and offers an exclusive environment where guests can meet and mingle. Have you ever met an alligator face-to-face? Or been up close and personal with a porcupine? An educational half-hour animal encounter brings some of the Zoo’s most treasured friends to your event.
