Safari Overnight adventures allow you to explore the Zoo on a guided evening tour, morning tour before the Zoo opens and all-day Zoo admission the day after your Overnight. Enjoy the comfort of our climate-controlled Education Center as you participate in fun evening activities and a live animal presentation in the morning. A pizza dinner, evening snack and continental breakfast are also included. Please note that in the event of inclement weather, some activities may be substituted.
Zoo Year’s Eve
Keep your New Year’s Eve plans and leave the kids to us! Send your children ages 6 to 11 to spend the night at the Zoo for a kid-friendly Zoo Year’s Eve celebration. Kids will enjoy dinner, snacks, meeting some animals up close, touring the Zoo on a moonlight safari, fun games and crafts. Breakfast will be provided in the morning.
Date: Dec. 31 to Jan. 1
Time: 5 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Cost: $95 child; Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount
Explore the unique adaptations animals need to survive as you travel the trails through Africa, Asia and Australia. Please note: This overnight requires a minimum of 15 participants — great for families, youth groups, scouts and school groups! TEKS-aligned weekday and weekend overnight programs are a great opportunity for students to experience the Fort Worth Zoo and are offered depending on availability.
Ages: 6 years to adult (Minimum group size is 15 participants. Two adult chaperones, 18 years and older, are required for every 15 children 6 years old through 12th grade)

Did you know that the Fort Worth Zoo is more than lions, tigers and bears? The Zoo offers programming on animals, plants, habitats, the outdoors, our environment and much more. They can help your troop or pack work towards a variety of badges and fun patches. Programming and events are designed just for your troop. If you have a smaller troop, why not invite another troop to join you for a “Buddy” event at the Zoo.

Overnight activities include a craft, live animal and biofact presentation, scavenger hunt, morning Zoo hike and all-day Zoo admission on Saturday. A pizza dinner, light evening snack and continental breakfast will be included. One adult chaperone is required for every six scouts.
Refund Policy: Due to the high volume of requests for Overnights at the Fort Worth Zoo, we are unable to refund your package after you have registered. Registration fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.
