Texas Nature Traders — Daily
This formalized program encourages kids (age 3 and older) to explore the outdoors and bring to the building fossils, rocks, bones, plants and other artifacts in exchange for points. Traders can redeem points (or save them for future use) for items in the Nature Trader inventory. Texas Nature Traders operates seven days a week, opening at 11 a.m. and closing one hour before the Zoo closes. Click here for more details.
Safari Splash — April 2, 2016
Safari Splash will open April 2, 2016 on Saturdays and Sundays only through May 1. The park will be open daily beginning Monday, May 2. Safari Splash is a zero-depth water play area equipped with four slides, a water dump tower, a fill wall for your water toys, animal-shaped water cannons and a designated toddler play area. For an additional $5 with Zoo admission, enjoy Safari Splash before or after a trip through the Zoo! Get more information.
Photo Safari — May 14 and June 4, 2016
Looking for a unique photo opportunity? Take your best shot here at the Zoo! Professional and amateur photographers alike can register for a Fort Worth Zoo Photo Safari session. Each session provides participants the opportunity to capture Zoo animals exhibiting natural behaviors. Get more information.
Beastro — May 20, 2016
Beastro is the Fort Worth Zoo’s annual music and tasting event that supports the Zoo’s local and international wildlife conservation and education efforts. Beastro features the finest area restaurants stationed throughout the Zoo, serving sample appetizers, entrees and desserts. In addition to the delectable cuisine, the event features open bars throughout the park and live music entertainment. Several animal exhibits remain open until sunset. Learn more here.
