Zoo Camp Financial Assistance Program
Zoo Camp’s mission is to provide engaging, memorable experiences that focus on wildlife conservation and the outdoors. We believe that connecting children to nature is the key to inspiring future leaders of the conservation of wild things and wild places. Thanks to the support of generous donors, the Fort Worth Zoo has established a fund to provide support to families in need of financial assistance. The Zoo Camp Financial Assistance Program ensures that children have the opportunity to attend a week of Summer Zoo Camp regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
Applicants must submit one of the following to qualify for financial aid:
- Free & Reduced Lunch (Notice of approval)
- HUD/Section 8 (Statement letter)
- SNAP (Food Stamps) (Notice of approval)
- WIC (Statement letter/voucher)
- Medicaid (Notice of approval)
- CHIP (Notice of approval)
Spaces are limited. Financial aid is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Submission of a qualifying document does not guarantee placement. Upon receipt, review, and approval of one of the qualifying documents, recipients will be asked to pay a reduced rate of $50 for one week of camp at the time of registration.
Applications for 2023 Summer Zoo Camp financial assistance are now closed. Please check back for future opportunities to apply.
